Design Customization

The Intuitiv team has tirelessly designed and revised our Rubicon template to accommodate virtually any scenario or project — but, as fellow integrators + programmers, we understand that saying "no" to a client's special request(s) is usually not an option. With this in mind, we've developed a Rubicon Customization Package.

For a flat fee of $3,000, we'll provide the necessary tweaks to the Rubicon, tailoring it to your specific project. Here are the highlights of the Rubicon Customization Package:

3 sets of batched revisions

Ability to move modules to your specific requirements, ability to change naming conventions, etc.

12 full months from the date of purchase to submit your revisions and dial in the project.

Once the revisions are complete, you'll have the ability to re-license your newly-customized Rubicon package and deploy it on your other projects without the customization fee.

This is a UI template that is adjustable to work with most standard systems. Each system is made to order and is tied to the MAC address of the processor. Many features of the system are configurable from the hidden tech page while others are adjustable via programming.

Your Crestron programmer will be provided with compiled files for the processor and touch panels. The processor file will need to be installed onto an open program slot on a 3 or 4 series processor, we recommended program slot 1.

Signals are provided via RSD’s allowing your programming team to tie in any back end system. Your programmer will be responsible for implementing all back end programming. A demo program is provided.

How many systems can I deploy your templates onto?

Each license permits a single use/single client deployment of the template. If you would like to purchase bulk licenses, please contact us for pricing and bulk license discount information.

How many floors/ buildings/ rooms do your support?

Our Rubicon template supports up to 6 floors/ buildings and 32 rooms. This can be upgraded to 64 rooms with a customization package.

Does using an Intuitiv template save time?

Yes! The front end of our UI's has been completely designed and programmed by us, they are turnkey and ready to deploy. All they require is the backend programming provided by a qualified Crestron programmer.

In many cases, programming can be reduced by 40-60%.

My client requires some controls that aren't in the template. Can I modify the template?

Yes! Simply add a customization package and we can make most adjustments. That said, For the sake of keeping our Intuitiv experience consistent, there are some customizations that would be addressed on a case-by-case basis. We've worked hard to ensure that our templates cover a wide range of the most common integration controls and we aim to provide a holistic, cohesive, and familiar user interface for all users.

Standard relative information about your system, such as sub-system names, load names, room names, any naming conventions, zones, sources, etc. is all completely unique and customizable by the programmer/integrator.

Is an Intuitiv UI flexible enough to work with any other subsystems?

Absolutely! Our Intuitiv UI's are designed to work with all flavors of subsystems. This could include Lutron lighting, most brands of media streamers as well as all sorts of unique HVAC systems.

Can I add additional pages?

Yes, we offer bolt-on pages for subsystems or specific custom controls that are not listed in the base template package. Bolt-on pages start at $500 USD.

My system has legacy touch panels that are not listed. Can I still use an Intuitiv UI?

We look at this on a case-by-case basis. Please provide your specific hardware and we will confirm compatibility.

Can your UI's be adjusted in the field?

Yes, there is a tech page that allows adjustments to be made in real-time by an installer or programmer on site.

Do you offer upgrade programs?

Yes, please reach out to our team and we will discuss the options.

Do you support commercial deployments?

While the Rubicon was designed for residential applications, the flexibility it provides would allow it to be customized to work in a commercial environment. We will have commercial-specific UI's in the future.

DO YOU OFFER A BULK LICENSE DISCOUNT?

If you are an integrator and wish to deploy the template to multiple clients/systems, please contact us for more information on bulk licenses and pricing.

My client wants a unique control interface specific to them. Do you design custom interfaces?

We are proud to offer completely bespoke, custom interface solutions for a unique, one-of-a-kind control experience for yourself or your clients. For larger, more intricate/complex systems, a custom interface system solution is more appropriate to give the end user complete, entirely-tailored control of their home integration and satisfy their unique visual interface design preferences.

I would love to have this in my home, but I don't have an integrator. can you help?

We can absolutely help! We will be more than happy to sync with one of our Verified Dealers that will work with you to discuss your home integration needs and preferences and assist you in deploying the interface in your home.

Will you help me deploy MY template?

The Intuitiv team will always be available to answer any questions and provide support while you deploy your template package. If necessary, project-specific Crestron programming can be added at an additional cost. Do THE TEMPLATEs work on the new 70-SERIES TOUCH PANELS?

You bet! Our interfaces look absolutely gorgeous on Crestron's new, high-resolution touch panels and we've ensured that the graphics are optimized for the higher pixel density on the 70-Series panels. We're as excited about them as you are!
