04 · Crestron-native & safe by design

Built around how Crestron systems actually emit data — and built to never touch your processor’s stability.

Intuitiv reads what the system already produces and runs off-processor. On Crestron Home, that means polling the REST API. On Custom Crestron, it means connecting over the integrator’s existing VPN and reading native console output via SSH. Either way, no custom code goes on the controller — the platform is designed to add intelligence to a deployment without altering it.

Every Crestron deployment is the product of careful engineering. Intuitiv reads what the system is already producing and does the analysis on our side — so the controller continues to do exactly what your programmer designed it to do.

The integration is additive by design: a property-intelligence layer that sits beside the system rather than inside it. Any deeper integrations the platform develops will follow Crestron’s own published interfaces — never as surprise interventions in a deployment your team has already handed over.

Questions integrators ask.

Does it touch my Crestron processor?

No. Intuitiv runs off-processor entirely and never installs anything on your client’s controller. For Crestron Home properties we read through Crestron’s REST API; for Custom Crestron deployments we connect over the integrator’s existing VPN + SSH and use native, read-only console commands — the same ones you’d type into Toolbox. Either way, your processor is untouched.

Is monitoring really 24/7?

Yes. Continuous monitoring is on every plan, including Free. Tiers differ in what you can do with the signal — not when it’s watched.

What data do you collect?

Device telemetry, system events, network behaviour, and firmware versions from the Crestron system and the smart home devices in the property — on Crestron Home, per-signal device snapshots via REST; on Custom Crestron, processor log lines (errlog, plogall) over SSH. Plus the client comms you explicitly connect (Gmail, Slack). Cameras, microphones, and personal communications outside what you connect are out of scope.

How does per-property billing work?

Each connected property is one billable unit. Whole-portfolio volume discounts apply automatically as you cross 6, 16, and 26 paid properties. Free properties don’t count toward the threshold.

Which Crestron systems are supported?
