Design + Oversight.
Everything in Design — the documentation, the custom programming, the on-panel interface (Tahoe) — plus active integration management through construction, programming sign-off on site, and full commissioning of the interface alongside the household.
What's included.
Design + Oversight is the engagement for projects where the principal or the design firm wants Intuitiv accountable from design development through handover. The documentation set is identical to the Design engagement. What changes is the level of involvement during construction.
Includes everything in Design, plus:
- Active management of the local integrator through construction
- Weekly project calls with the integrator and the design firm
- RFI turnaround within 24 hours
- Virtual site walks at rough-in, prefinish, finish, and commissioning
- Coordination with the engineer of record, electrical contractor, and trades on technology-adjacent decisions
- On-site programming sign-off — the senior engineer who wrote the code is the one who certifies it on the bench during commissioning
- UI/UX tuning with the household — the Tahoe surface is configured against the family’s actual rhythm, not a generic template, in the days following power-up
- Commissioning oversight — verification of the full system (hardware, programming, and interface) against specification before handover
- Final certification: a written sign-off that the installed system meets the design intent
- Remote owner training at handover
- Optional: post-handover service oversight retainer (Wenner Service)
Who this is for.
Design + Oversight suits ultra-luxury homes where the technology systems budget warrants a single point of design accountability through to commissioning. It also suits projects where the local integrator is highly capable but unfamiliar with the design firm's standard, or where the principal's portfolio includes multiple homes and consistency across properties is a priority.
Many of our long-standing relationships with international design firms operate at this tier as a default.
How we work.
Engagements run from design development through to certified handover. A typical timeline is twelve to twenty-four months from kickoff to commissioning, depending on construction schedule.
Communication runs on a weekly cadence with the integrator and the design firm. The principal receives a milestone summary at each phase — never a status report cluttered with technical detail.
Investment.
Design + Oversight engagements are scoped per project and priced as a percentage of the technology systems budget. Most engagements at this tier begin in the mid six figures (USD).
A scope and fee proposal is issued within ten business days of the kickoff conversation.
